VIP and Loyalty at Winspirit
Most loyalty pages read like an airline brochure — colourful tiers, vague perks, a soft promise of "exclusive treatment". Ours is the opposite. We show the comp-point rate, the AU$ value at each tier, and the deposit volume you'd need to break even on chasing the next level. If the maths doesn't work for your bankroll, the page tells you. That's the difference.
How the Programme Works
Every AU$10 wagered on pokies earns 1 comp point. Live dealer and table games count at a lower rate — AU$25 per point on roulette and blackjack — because the house edge differs. Points sit in your account until you redeem them for cash credit at the rate set by your tier. Cashback runs in parallel, paid every Monday at 09:00 AEST on your previous week's net losses.
The Five Tiers
Tier | Points to unlock | Comp redemption | Weekly cashback |
|---|---|---|---|
Bronze | 0 | 1,000 pts = AU$5 | 3% |
Silver | 2,500 | 1,000 pts = AU$6 | 5% |
Gold | 12,500 | 1,000 pts = AU$8 | 7% |
Diamond | 60,000 | 1,000 pts = AU$10 | 10% |
Platinum | 250,000 (invite) | 1,000 pts = AU$12 | 12% |
Points reset every 90 days at the lower tiers and every 180 days at Diamond and above. Cashback caps at AU$2,000 per week and only applies to real-money play — bonus losses don't count.
The Maths Nobody Else Shows You
Here's the question most punters never ask: does grinding to the next tier actually pay?
Going from Silver to Gold needs 10,000 extra points — that's AU$100,000 wagered on pokies. The reward is a 2-percentage-point cashback bump (5% → 7%) and an extra AU$2 per 1,000 comp points redeemed.
If your average weekly net loss is AU$200, the cashback delta is AU$4 a week, or AU$208 a year. The comp delta on AU$100,000 of wagering adds roughly AU$20 in extra redemption value. Total upside: about AU$228 per year for a player losing AU$200 a week.
For that punter, the upgrade is marginal. For a player losing AU$1,000 a week, the same 2-point cashback bump is AU$20/week, or over AU$1,000 a year — and worth chasing.
Rule of thumb: don't push for a tier upgrade on bankroll. Push for one only if you're already wagering at that level anyway.
Platinum (Invite-Only)
Platinum isn't on the public ladder. We invite players whose 90-day net activity sits in the top decile of our base. The package includes a named account manager, custom withdrawal limits, faster KYC re-checks, and bespoke reload offers. We don't list a deposit threshold because the invite considers play style, RG history and account standing — not just volume.
Cashback Honesty Notes
Cashback is paid as real cash, not bonus credit. No wagering attached.
Bonus losses don't count. If your week was funded entirely by a reload bonus, expect AU$0 cashback.
The cap is AU$2,000/week for a reason — it protects both the casino's payout health and your bankroll's velocity.
When the Programme Isn't For You
If you play once a fortnight, or you mostly play live blackjack at low stakes, Bronze cashback is the best you'll squeeze out of this programme — and it's still real money in your pocket every Monday. Don't deposit more to chase a level you don't naturally qualify for; chase the level your normal play earns.
